Buyer's guide

Choosing Reishi.

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is a glossy, red-brown mushroom that has been used in Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine for over 2,000 years. Ours is a tincture made from the fruiting body, grown in Poland and tested by an independent lab. Orders before 2pm leave Ireland the same day. What's in our Reishi drops Reishi fruiting body, extracted with ultrasonic-assisted extraction in purified water and food-grade alcohol. 1,000 mg of extract (dry weight) in each 30 ml bottle. Vegan, with nothing else added. Lab tested by J.S. Hamilton Poland for heavy metals and microbes. The full report is on the product page. How to take Reishi drops The label says 2 to 3 droppers a day, no more than 2 ml, best in the evening. Hold the drops under your tongue for 90 seconds or stir them into tea. Reishi tastes bitter and can tingle a little under the tongue; that's normal. Our Reishi dosage guide has a calculator for drops, ml and how long a bottle lasts. How to choose Reishi in Ireland Fruiting body or mycelium? The fruiting body is the mushroom itself. Mycelium is the root-like threads, often grown on grain. Both are sold as Reishi; the label should say which. Ours is fruiting body. How much, per daily dose? Look for the amount of extract per bottle and per daily dose, not just a big number on the front. Can you see the lab report? A brand that has its product tested can show you the results. Ours are on the Reishi drops page. Reishi questions Where can I buy Reishi in Ireland? Here. Our Reishi drops are sent from Ireland, with next-day delivery on orders placed before 2pm. When should I take Reishi? Most people take it in the evening, often in a cup of herbal tea. Can I take Reishi with Lion's Mane? Yes. A common routine is Lion's Mane in the morning and Reishi in the evening. Who shouldn't take Reishi? Children, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and anyone allergic to mushrooms. If you take medicine for blood clotting, blood pressure or blood sugar, check with your pharmacist first. Food supplements shouldn't replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
