Cookie policy
A cookie is a file that asks permission to be stored on your PC’s hard drive. Once you have given your consent, the file is stored and the cookie is used to analyse traffic patterns or to find out when you visit a specific website. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application tailors its operations to your needs, preferences and tastes by collecting and remembering information about your preferences.
We operate an “implied consent” policy, which means that we assume that you are happy with our use of cookies. If you are not satisfied, you should either not use this site, delete our cookies after visiting this site, or browse the site using your browser’s anonymous usage setting (called “Incognito” in Chrome, “InPrivate” for Internet Explorer).
Traffic logging cookies are used to identify which pages are being used. They allow us to analyse web page traffic data and improve our website to better suit your needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us to provide you with a better website experience by allowing us to monitor which pages you find most useful and which you do not. A cookie cannot give us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies according to your preferences. However, this may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website.
You can also limit your browser so that you do not receive cookies at all. You can also delete cookies that have already been set. You have a choice. You can do this through your browser settings, with the help of your browser function. If you want more information about cookies, you can search for them on Google or Bing.

Other information we collect
Social buttons: On our Dr Mush Me website, you will see “social buttons”. These allow users to share or bookmark our web pages. There are buttons for: Twitter, Google +1, Facebook “Like”, and LinkedIn “Share”. In order to use these buttons and connect them to relevant social networks and external sites, there are scripts from domains outside of Dr Mush Me.
You should be aware that these sites collect information about what you do anywhere on the internet, including Dr Mush Me’s website. When you click on one of these buttons, these sites record your action and may use this information. In some cases, they will record that you visited our site and the specific pages you went to, even if you did not click on any buttons when you logged into our services, such as Google and Facebook.
You can check the respective policies of each of these sites to see how they use your information and how to opt out or delete that information. This is a choice you should be aware of and exercise.
External Web Services: We use a number of external web services on our website. Dr Mush Me, primarily displays content from our web pages. There are issues with cookies and data collection on external sites that need to be addressed. As with social buttons, we cannot prevent these sites, or external domains, from collecting information about your use of this embedded content.
If you are not logged into these external services, they will not know who you are, but they may collect anonymous information about your usage, e.g., number of views, reads, uploads, etc.
Email tracking: Some emails we send do not have tracking. This is the case, for example, for personal correspondence or emails with invoices attached. In other cases, we do include tracking so that we know how much additional traffic these emails send to our site and we can tell, on an individual level, whether the user has opened and clicked on the email.
We rarely use the latter information on a personal level, but rather to understand the open and click rates on our emails to try to improve them. Sometimes we use personal information, for example, to resend emails to people who may not have read them the first time. If you want to be sure that none of your email activity is tracked, you can unsubscribe from our Dr Mush Me newsletter.
Links to other websites: Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should be aware that we have no control over other websites.
